The first teaser trailer for Red Dead Redemption’s sequel has finally arrived – and while short, it’s oddly mysterious and ridiculously captivating.
The footage gives out scarce clues and hints as to where the game will be set, who the protagonists will be or what the story will revolve around.
The only cue the trailer gives us is a cryptic warning at the end of the video: “When the time comes… You gotta run and don’t look back. This is over.”
Rockstar Games first started teasing the sequel on Sunday, but ultimately dropped the big news on Monday when it tweeted a picture of seven individuals wearing hats and armed with guns. The post quickly went viral as many fans interpreted it as a nod to another instalment of the smash-hit game.
